Discussion 2:

The speaker made it so funny in the beginning, and at the end of her speech. The words that she used was so easy to understand. You don't need to use a dictionary for you to be able to understand what she wants you to know. She really made her speech clear. She focused mainly on her experiences in life. She started it in the beginning - when she graduate 21 years ago, and on what happened after that. She talked about her plans which she pursue even though her parents didn't let her do it. I remember she said that the parents find out that she was writing on her graduation. She also mentioned that failure is not good. I think if we will use failure as an experience we will do good on everything we want to be, but of course it is not always a bed of roses. The trials and obstacles that we encounter along the way will help us in the future and on how to deal with life, like her experiences. Look where she's at now and we can do the same thing. We just need to focus on what we really wants and work on it. It was very inspiring speech.

  1. She does indeed make a great speech. Like speech, we have to consisder the way we structure and write essays. Introductions and conclusions are big as they are the first thing we read and the last thing we remember. She gives great examples to support her overall point. Word choice is big as it is with any writing or speech being presented to an audience. This is something that definitely needs to be practiced.
